Nice to have you here …

Choosing The Right Perfume.

Usually the words ?notes? are used corresponding to music or jotting down notes. But fragrances are also created of different notes that when they are combined can make that special mixture that is called perfume.

That is the reason why the scent you wear gives various smells at different periods of time. The smell you get when you spray the fragrance on you differs from what you get after about half an hour has passed and then again during the day, it can even be changed. It happens when the fragrance starts releasing and ?various notes? start evaporating.

It is not recommended to buy perfume after the first hint of it. You should wait until it dries on your hand and release before smelling it again to know the smell of your perfume. It happens that the different notes evaporate in phases and it is the mixture of all the notes that makes your bottle of fragrance give out that strong smell.

Now let?s see, what these notes are:
There are such terms in perfumery language as Top Notes, the Middle Notes and the Base notes. They can be easily remembered. But what is the meaning of these terms?

You can smell top notes when you open the bottle of the perfume. This is thought to be the main smell since the manufacturer is concerned as if that first whiff does not seem pleasant to you, you will not buy the perfume. The top notes are strong and vivacious and created to make that first good impression. The first note does not last for a long time due to its fast evaporation, in about 10 ? 15 minutes mostly.

Next come Middle Notes and these are the body and the heart of the perfume and they help to make the bouquet of the scent. The middle notes are not so vibrant and strong and they last longer than the tope notes and they are smelled after 30 ? 45 minutes after spraying the perfume. And the Middle Notes assist in balancing the different mixtures of the perfume.

And the last are the Base Notes. The Base notes of the fragrance make the scent complete. The components that help to create the Base notes can hold the Middle and the Top Notes together and prevent perfume evaporation fast. The base notes are assumed to be the main part of the perfume which makes the scent unique and complete.

So, now you see that so many ingredients come into the creating of that dreamy bottle of perfume we like so much. Nonetheless, only professional can tell the difference between the notes and the constitution of the specific perfume. For ordinary people, the information about the different notes of the perfume will help only in choosing very special scent.
